Agreement
These terms are between you and Tutorey. Using the app means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it.
Your account
You need to be eighteen or older to open an account, and the details you give should be true. Keep your password to yourself — anything done from your account is treated as done by you. Tell us at once if you think someone else has got in.
What you may use it for
Run your tuition: batches, students, attendance, fees and messages to guardians. Do not use Tutorey to break the law, to store data about people who have nothing to do with your teaching, to send anyone unwanted marketing, or to try to reach another tutor’s records.
Your data belongs to you
You own what you enter. We store and process it so the app can work, and for nothing else. You can export it or delete it whenever you want. If you stop paying, your records are not held hostage — the account drops to the free plan and your data stays reachable.
You are responsible for what you record about your students, and for having the right to record it. See the privacy policy.
Plans and payment
The free plan is free, up to 20 students. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, at the price shown when you subscribe. If we change prices we will tell you at least 30 days beforehand and the change starts at your next renewal.
Cancel any month from Settings. You keep the paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund part-months, but if something has genuinely gone wrong, write to us — we would rather sort it out than argue.
Nothing is deleted when you drop to Free. Your 20 most recent students and 2 batches stay active; the rest remain saved but read-only, and you cannot add new ones until you upgrade again. Upgrade and everything is exactly as it was.
Referrals. Invite another tutor with your code and you keep 5% of every payment they make, for as long as they keep paying. It is paid to your bKash number once the balance passes ৳100. We may end the programme or change the rate with 30 days’ notice, and anything already earned is still yours. Codes are for genuine referrals — creating accounts to pay yourself ends the arrangement.
What Tutorey does not do
We do not take payments for you. Money moves between you and your guardians directly, through bKash, Nagad, your bank or cash. Tutorey records it. Any dispute about a payment is between you and the guardian.
We do not send your messages. Tutorey prepares reminders and opens WhatsApp or SMS; you press send from your own phone and number.
Availability
We work to keep Tutorey up, but we do not promise it will never be down. Maintenance, a failure at a provider we depend on, or a bug can all interrupt service. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose — the app can export it.
Ending it
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is being used to harm someone, or where we are required to by law. Unless the law prevents us, we will tell you why and give you a chance to export your data.
Liability
Tutorey is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data or indirect loss, and our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes
If we change these terms materially, we will email you before the change takes effect. Carrying on using Tutorey afterwards means you accept the new version.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka have jurisdiction.
